Literacy with ICT

Literacy with ICT

LwICT means choosing and using ICT (Information and Communications Technology) responsibly to communicate and to think creatively and critically in all subject areas. Literacy with ICT is not a separate technology course, but it is the infusion of technology as a learning tool in all subject areas to support curricular outcomes.

Literacy with ICT is about STUDENTS and TEACHERS thinking critically and creatively about information and about communication, as citizens of the global community, while using ICT responsibly and ethically.

Literacy with ICT consists of 3 components: critical and creative thinking, ethics and responsibility, and ICT literacy.
